Is there any relief from a pinched nerve?

I have a pinched nerve in my neck. It’s driving me crazy. It hurts from my neck all the way down my arm, and there is no relief. Pain pills don’t work, laying down doesn’t help, I don’t know what to do.

Help i have a weird stabbing pain in the back of my right thigh when im driving?

its only when i sit down to drive my car and it just started yesterday.
9 Commentswhen i sit down in my car to drive after about 5 minutes in the back of my right thigh it feels like knives stabbing into it and i have to stop on the side of the road and struggle to get out of my car.
whats wrong with me?
could it be a pinched nerve?
i cant drive at all it hurts so bad!!
but when i stand up the pain goes away.

I have times that my head, neck, and shoulders flare up and hurt so bad (like tension and tightness) that I get dizzy and irritable and cant think straight. It even appears that my face and around my eyes become puffy.
I have to take a nap and try completely letting my muscles relax while laying there to fall asleep. Then when I wake up it seems better. This is a problems that comes and goes but seems to always happen when I get stressed out or really aggravated.

i’m almost positive i pinched a nerve in my elbow but my mom is acting like its nothing since she thinks i complain too much. could it be serious if i dont go to the doctor?

Anyone with neck pain out there that can help?

I woke up one morning a few weeks back with terrible neck pain. I figured I slept wrong. Well, it really hasn’t gone away. I’ve been taking Ibuprofen(like 1600 mg/day), tried a muscle relaxer, doesn’t really seem to work. Went to my doc, he said if pain doesn’t go away, I might need an MRI to see what’s up.
6 CommentsPain starts in my neck. It’ll go into the backs of my shoulders. And go up into the back of my head. Almost like there’s a pressure. And when I do little neck circles, it feels almost like a grinding sensation. I had some tingling and weakness in my arms too. The tingling and weakness has gotten better.
For those with neck problems, anyone had similar symptoms? And I’ve been dizzy too. Just kinda off– like I’ve had a few beers. Can neck issues/pain cause dizziness? My doc says it may be a pinched nerve. Anyone with pinched nerve problems out there? What can you do for that? And if it’s a disc problem, what’s the solution for that?

Somedays it’s really bad, like the day after having done some push-ups. For the most part its that area to the inside of my left shoulder blade. So, if I am looking looking straight, i can touch my right ear to my right shoulder, but can barely tilt my head in the same way on the left side….How might I look for treatment. I can’t afford to be sent from one specialist to another. So I turned to yahoo!! ughhhh.

Pain and numbness when sleeping on either shoulder?

I have always had pain and numbness in my shoulder after sleeping on them for an hour or 2 at night, but I could just roll to my other side or lay on my back. Now I am 16 weeks pregnant and it was strongly recommended that I no longer sleep on my back and I was told that as my stomach becomes larger it will be painful to sleep on my right because of a pinched nerve? Is there any way help with this pain?

I current have a pinched nerve on the top of my ankle. I have had this for 3 months now and the pain has not subsided. I would like to start running again and was curious if I would do any damage? I feel I can deal with the pain but I just don’t want my leg to give out.

What could be causing my lower back pain on only one side?

I had a baby 4 months ago and ever since I was pregnant I have had this lower back pain on my right side. It’s like a burning stabbing feeling. I don’t have any numbness in my leggs or feet. I also got checked for a kidney infection and I don’t have one. Could this be a pinched nerve? Is there anything I can do at home to heal it?

out & my left side is distorted. It’s the worst feeling ever. Is there any type of stretching or physical therapy that I can do to prevent this from occcuring? I am taking Vicodin & Valium & using ice pack. I can’t drive to the Dr.. If he sets up an MRI for me, the condition improves befoe the time for the MRI. Maybe surgery will help/ Just wondering if anyone out there can help, Thank you.
