How to deal with Rheumatoid arthritis? ?

I’m 22 and just found out I have autoimmune disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I also have two small children at home. So, I’m wondering what kinds of things can help me? I’m on medication that my Rheumatologist gives me, but I want to know what kind of daily things I can do to help myself. Diet, exercise, pain relief, etc.

REALLY BAD BACK PAIN - HELP?

Okay, so ii was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me if they know what my problem can be (I’m going to the doctor tomorrow, but ii am really getting tired of waiting).
So, for the last [about] 5-6 months, I’ve had a pain in my back (mostly in the lower, middle area. Over the past month, however, the pain has increasingly become worse - it’s gotten to the point where ii have a hard time finding a position to sleep in where it doesn’t hurt, ii have a hard time sitting (especially in school), and sometimes ii have a hard time leaning over, or picking things up off the ground. I’ve tried taking back pain relief pills, but it does absolutely nothing for the pain. ii also tried the hot and cold cream stuff, and again that did nothing, except make my back hot and sting.
If anyone could please tell me what they think it might be, it would be greatly appreciated (you have no idea)…ii just want to know, so ii can find something to do for it.

Anyone out there know any good pain relief for Juvenille Rheumatoid Arthritis? (JRA)?

I was diagnosed with JRA last year at 14. Mine is the severe type. I am on methotrexate, enbrel, and several steroids. Pain pills dont really work. HELP!

Any Experienced Suggestions for Severe Pain Relief?

my wife (38yrs, one 12yr.old daughter) has been experiencing Severe cyclic pain in lower abdomen (pelvic area) aprox. 2weeks prior OR after Period. Midol. Naproxen and Ibuprofen give her only about 2 hours relief before additional dosage is needed.
Has anyone, experienced this that has a better remedy for Relief that does not entail a hysterectomy OR birth contorl pills( to regulate Ovulation (suggested by gyno ) these bouts are usually 2-3 days and often time have her “doubled” over in Pain. -as you can tell from time posted, the Pain also wakes her from sleep…

My tonsils are swollen and have white on them - they hurt very bad. What can I do for the pain?

It hurts very bad when I try to swallow water or soup or anything.. It feels as if there is mucus stuck on them or something.. There are white spots on them and they’re inflamed.
4 CommentsI have salt water but I’m not sure if that will even help at this point. What can I do for temporary pain relief until I am able to get chloraseptic fluid to spray on them?

Need nonsurgical pain relief for hip dysplasia/arthritis pain?

Hip replacement surgery is not an option right now, but walking is getting to be fairly painful. I have tried taking an anti-inflammatory before going shopping but it doesn’t appear to help much anymore. Is there anything else that can be done prior to shopping or a day out that will help?

My doctor gave my grandmother a shot in the hip earlier today and i forgot the name of the drug. It sounded like toderol or something like that, but i can’t find it anywhere on the web. any suggestions on what it might be called…or how it’s spelled?

I had brachioplasty surgery 3 weeks ago and was prescribed oxycotin for pain relief following?

I haven’t taken it for almost a week since the pain is starting to subside. I took it twice a day (325 mg x 2), probably 3-4 days a week, for 2 weeks. I am also on an antibiotic (cephalexin) 3 times a day for probably the next 2 weeks or so.
I’d like to start trying to get pregnant, but I don’t want to even try till I feel these drugs are all out of my system. What are your thoughts? How long should I wait? Can I try while still on the antibiotic?
