What do I do about neck and shoulder pain?

The muscles in my shoulder and neck area are always aching and tense.Right now, the pain in my left shoulder area is hurting.I don’t know what is causing it or what I can do to make them feel better.Anyone know?

I’ve been to massage therapists before, and it seems like the “push” somewhere along the right shoulder blade and that relieves the neck tension………..

help! neck pain and head pain?

couple of days ago i was fighting and
got kicked in the back of the neck
it really hurt and the pain spread to my head
i took painkillers and its fine
now suddenly i made a movement and the pain is back
but its really back in the left side of the back of my head
and some in the neck
does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

PLEASE HELP! SEVERE NECK PAIN?

I Heard a loud pop in my neck this morning as i turned over in bed followed by excruciating pain in my left shoulder, arm and chest. I have taken anti inflammatory which has eased the pain a bit but now my left hand hand has started to go numb. Should i go see my doctor?

Sudden Neck Pain?

This morning right when I got out of the shower I lifted my towel to dry my hair (sort of quickly) and got an extreme pain suddenly in my neck/left shoulder. It has not yet gone away it hurts very badly especially when I turn my neck past a certain point and look down. I have taken acetaminophen and it helped relieve the pain but not much.

What causes neck pain?

I’ve been having chronic pain on the left side of my neck for 2 days. It hurts constantly and its hard to move my neck. The pain seems to be isolated to one particular area. I haven’t had any injuries. My pain started Monday w/ a really bad headache. Then by night my headache eased a little and I started having neck pain.

Just wondering if neck pain can cause a severe headache? I have had a headache for a week now and my neck is killing me…..I fell on the ice 2 weeks ago and think I might have given myself wiplash ?!?!
No CommentsI am scared my headache is something more serious….I wake up without one but once I start to move around and stuff it gets so bad I have to lay down..
Any suggestions? Do you think it is my neck causing me these problems?

severe neck pain?

Every single morning I wake up with severe neck pain and soreness. It radiates all the way from the base of my skull to my shoulders and on both sides. I have trouble turning my head to the left, right, up and down. I also have pain in the left side of my jaw every morning. My jaw sometimes clicks when I open it. I take up to 10 Ibuprofen to be able to function normally. What is this? How can I solve the problem?

Bad neck pain. help?

when i woke up this morning i turned my head to the right and felt a really sharp pain on the right side of my neck. it hurts so bad. is there anything i can to to make it go away besides not turning my head? I have this birthday party to go to and not turning my head will be kind of hard. lol thank you. =]
