Have you ever had chronic (seemingly) uncurable pain that really was healed?

Can you tell me how, what it was, what caused it, and inspire some hope in me?
Wow. That’s a lot of best answers here. Thanks all.

My husband woke up with a very sore and stiff neck. What can we do to treat it?

My husband woke up and can barely move his neck at all without having excruciating muscle pain. What can we do to treat it? We have a heating pad on it now. Would it be better to do a cold pack? Should I massage it a certain way. He is in a lot of pain and cannot move his neck because it hurts so much to do it. Also, what could have caused this? He says he did nothing to bring it on yesterday at all.

What is a band that is like rap, but not hip-hop? The beats are slower and it is not so angry?

I heard it in my friends car and i love it. There isn’t a lot of swearing, if any at all. The songs aren’t about bling and getting girls so much either

My right hand has been hurting a LOT recently after taking notes and playing piano. Should I be worried?

The pain is kind of all over. It’s in my thumb and part of my palm, in my fingers a little bit, in my wrist a lot, and even in my forearm. When I take notes in school, I have to drop my pencil every couple minutes and stretch out my wrist and hand because it hurts. And now I’m finding that when I try to support myself in pushup position, I get a weird pain right where my right hand meets my wrist.

I’ve never had this problem before; it’s just been developing over the last few months. I write a lot during the day and also play piano, so I know I probably use that hand a lot, and maybe that’s the problem and it’s just tired. But I just want to know if I should be worried about it or talk to my doctor. Can you help me? Thank you so much in advance.

Could this be gas, a blood clot, or something far worse, and will nitroglycerin effect blood clots?

I’ve been diagnosed with hypertension. The years and years of not taking care of myself has finally caught up with me. Today my doctor prescribed to me to take 0.4mg of nitroglycerin tablets that are taken under the tongue. He prescribed them to be because I’ve recently started having chest pains this past week. The pains have been in the upper left portion of my chest traveling up and down my left shoulder and arm. The pain in my arm feels somewhat like it’s fallen asleep, bad blood circulation or something. . After I got home from my doctor’s visit today my left arm felt completely normal, no pains at all. BUT, the pain that was in the upper left portion of my chest and up and down my left arm has now on the upper right side of my chest and and going up and down the right side of my arm. It pretty much, completely reversed itself. Which is leaving me to believe that it might be a traveling blood clot that’s just not going away. My mother also tells me that it’s just gas being held up inside. But I personally thing that it could be a blood clot. Does anyone know what could this be? And if it does happen to be a blood clot, is it save to take nitroglycerin tablets? I’ve had a theory that since nitroglycerin opens the blood vessels and arteries for a short amount of time, that it would free the blood clot from where ever it may be stock at the time, travel through my blood stream and get into my lungs. The thought scares me a lot. And I’d like to know any information that I can about this.

Why can I sing lower notes in the morning?

When I wake up, I can sing about 3 notes lower than usual, all the way to the last octave on the piano scale. Not only that, but my voice is much richer, thicker, and has a lot more timbre. Why does this happen and how can I harness this morning voice for the rest of the day?

I have pain and numbness in my hands since I started a new job 3 months ago. Could it be carpal tunnel?

I recently started a new job which consists of some typing, and a lot of being on the phone. I thought maybe it was repetitious actions causing my problems in my hands, but the numbness is driving me insane.. It starts in my wrist and branches out to my pinkie and thumb and affects everything in between. I don’t want to go to a dr, because I always end up getting put on meds for something. Any ideas?
