MRI Costs with insurance?

I’ve been diagnosed with sciatica and am considering an MRI to determine its severity. I have pretty good insurance thru Blue Cross. Does anyone know the costs associated with an MRI?

Lower back pains, ultrasound costs too much?

My boyfriend has been experiencing serious internal pains located on the lower left-side of his back. He has no insurance and they want him to get an ultrasound. He can’t afford the abdominal ultrasound(200-1000 USD). His symptoms sound like a Kidney infection to me. Do they sound like that to you, or a different problem?
No Comments1. Fever, nausea, loss of appetite
2. Loss of energy
3. Difficulty urinating
4. Dull aching pains that sometimes shift to stabbing pains
5. The pain gets worse with laughing
The problems started after he drank a lot of sodas and drank alcohol. it’s been going on now for two weeks. The pain is getting so bad, he doesn’t even want to leave his bed.

my son is having some chronic pain?

my son is 2 years old about to be 3 in may.
for months now he has been complaining of sever pain in his legs and feet.
he will point at his feet one time then the next it will be his calf muscles, then his thighs…
he refuses to sit to eat he squats on the chair.
you can tell its not a fake pain.
he will be walking then all of a sudden start yelling owwwie owwie..owwie.and reach for what ever spot is hurting.
right now our insurance for the kids is turned off so i cant get him in..but soon..
i just wanted some input as to what you all thought it was.

I’m a guy. This has been going on for a year. I can’t eat either.
I went to the hospital once in September, but the truth of the matter is i currently dont have insurance, I am working on obtainig some. But when i went to the hospital they weren’t any help, the kept me for a week, told me i had some kind of stomach infection, in my colon or something, but then they weren’t sure, and then I signed myself out cause the hospital had bed bugs the name of this hospital is Sound Shore Medical in New Rochelle, NY anyhow, I’m still have this problem and need to have some kind of idea as to what could be wrong, mean while I try to get some insurance

what can a person due about a police officer not filing a report for accident and a person was injury?

a person was back over by a car in the yard the police come but no report is done. the person was injury and taken to the hospital .
its been since 4/05 the insurance company has requested a police report the officer didnt do one he throwed everything away. in the state of alabama code it is a class c felony for the officer not making a report but i am not been able to get anything done about him he has retatailted against me and my family. the police does not want to do anything to him. justice is suppose to be for everyone.

If I fell at home and it resulted in a major injury can I file a claim with my homeowners policy?

I know if someone else falls they can go through my policy so would the same hold true if I fell? I’m wondering about this because I know if I had a solo car accident I could go through my own auto insurance to pay for it so does the same hold true for a homeowners policy?

can I file a personal injury (happened outside a commerical real estate) claim? How can I know insured premise?

The insurance says the accident was not in the insured premise. If so I will probably file against the US government (it happened in a lodge inside National Park). Can I do that (against the Government)? Is there time limit to file against the government? Thanks alot for your information

If a persons knee is still swollen after falling on it; should you he or she go to the doctor?

I had fallen on my knee in a race 3 days ago and scun up my knee. I’m still suffering from it being swollen and very hard to get out of bed or walk on. Considering i dont have insurance to go to the doctor i dont want to go unless i absolutly have to. But some people say if you get water built up in your knee it could be bad. What should i do?

TMJ - not covered under insurance, now what?

I have been going through hell for the last couple months, pain in my neck and shoulder muscles, my ears have felt like they are plugged along with pain in my ears. My jaw has always popped and clicked, now thanks to unwelcome stress I have noticed that I really clench my jaw! I went to my primary and had my ears checked, went to an ENT and had them checked again and he said it all comes down to TMJ most likely! So now after several calls, neither my medical nor dental insurance will cover TMJ treatments, they will cover everything up until the doctor/dentist diagnoses me with TMJ. Now what?

Doctor might be out of question b/c Mom doesn’t want to take since she has no insurance for me and says I’m complaining something is bothering me
