i’m almost positive i pinched a nerve in my elbow but my mom is acting like its nothing since she thinks i complain too much. could it be serious if i dont go to the doctor?

WOAH! How does this work? (Rub elbow, arm gets shorter?)?

Ok. If you like put your hand out and touch something with your arm fully extended, then bend your elbow back in and rub it for a bit, when you put your arm back it will be shorter and won’t touch whatever you touched! It’s really cool! And I was just wondering if anyone knew how that worked. Is it like an illusion? Does it make the tendons contract pulling the joint closer? What?

Irritating Arm Pain?

Had a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class tonight and
after my class I noticed I had terrible pain in
my elbow. Not really a sore muscle pain but
more of a irritating pain. I’m not sure what I
did to cause the pain since I didn’t notice till
I got in my car to go home. I’ve been icing it
for about an hour now. Any recommendations
to ease the pain? Also i’ve been training in BJJ
for almost the past 4 weeks and its my first time
experiencing this pain.

burning shoulder pain in left arm for 3 days so far?

I was practicing rifle at my highschool (for colorguard) and about an hour after, my shoulder started to really hurt. it felt like it was burning. it has got to the point where it goes up the side of my neck and to about my elbow. it has been three days and it hasn’t gotten any better. ive iced it, put some heat, and took advil, nothing has helped yet. any ideas?

unexplained arm pain?

for about 8 months now, i’ve been having extreme pain from my elbow all the way up to my neck, almost everyday.
I have visited various doctors, taken hundreds of medications without any permanent improvement.
It gets to the point where even driving becomes a challenge.
I don’t know how to explain the pain but it feels like when you’re cold and your legs hurt, kinda like that but on my arms.

Can tendonitis in my arm make my collar bone ache?

I have tendonitis in my arm from fast pitch softball. Mostly it is just in my wrist and elbow but recently my collar bone and shoulder have been aching horribly. Can that be related?

From an IV aweek ago, the vein is sore and bruised all the way up to my elbow should I be concerned?

I went in later that day a had lithotripsy and had an IV on the other hand that hand is fine.
