Does anyone have chronic ****** pain not related to menstrual cycles?

Had pain on and off for 3 years, but now (past 2 weeks) it’s everyday all day and severe. I’ve seen 4 doctors and no one can tell me why or what to do. Tried all the usually, no caffeine, evening primrose oil, vitamin E - nothing works. I am ready to get them chopped off and get fake ones - help!!!

Have you ever had chronic (seemingly) uncurable pain that really was healed?

Can you tell me how, what it was, what caused it, and inspire some hope in me?
Wow. That’s a lot of best answers here. Thanks all.

Is a Dynatron sts machine avaliable with an already implanted spinal cord stimulator?

My girlfriend has RSD. After many surgerys doctors decided to go with a spinal cord stimulator for her arms and legs. Her legs seem to be in much better pain-free atmosphere, her arms are extremely in chronic pain. She is on oxymorphone and oxycontin to control the pain but we are hoping for an alternative method. I have read about a dynatron sts machine for nerve pain. Would this be a solution considering she already has a spinal cord stimulator?

Chronic pain and fatigue? ?

You need some history. I have battled not being healthy for over two years now. I for a long time had stomach upset that went along with this. I thought it was tied together but the stomach pain ended up being gallbladder disease. I have since had my gallbladder removed. The stomach problems resolved. However just like the surgeon told me it did not resolve the aches and pains, and the fatigue. I don’t sleep at night and have tried to flip my schedule but it never seams to stick. The pain seams more severe at night and I end up so tired I eventually crash. Luckily my kids are school age so I can see them off and then lay back down. Many people have suggested that I just stay up no matter what. I have tried that with no sucsess because when you reach my level of tiredness eventually my body just gives in and I fall asleep. Last year I actually got really sick from trying to flip my sleep pattern too. Some of my friends have suggested that my pain is due to the inconsistent sleep patterns? I have seen doctors for this and been tested for arthritis, lime disease, sleep disorders, thyroid problems and lymphoma. All test came back fine! The surgeon thought for sure I had lymphoma because of the size of my neck and lymph nodes. My problem now is that I am expecting and everyone including the docs say this is from my pregnancy. I have an issue with that because this issue was going on long before me being expecting. I am hoping someone has an idea of how to get the doc to take me seriously that this is not from pregnancy and is something else. That way I could have Blood test done on me. Maybe since I have insurance they could get me with a pain specialist. I have already seen a sleep doctor over a year ago and he said the pain was the issue. I know this was long but I felt a good description was best. I really would like this resolved before my baby makes an appearance. I know I will still be able to be mom regardless. It would just be easier if I knew what caused my pain and sleep disturbance problems? If you have any suggestions what I should do please help? Suggestions of what is going on are welcome too. The only thing I ask is to be respectful and please no rude comments!

Can anyone with lower back pain please give me some positive advice?

Hi,as I sit here crying I’m begging someone who knows how to deal with chronic lower back pain,to please give me some ideas.I’ve had this for 13 years and it’s every single day.I wake up every morning praying not to feel it,that is if I’m lucky enough to drift off to sleep even for a short while.I like to be on the go and this stops me dead in my tracks.A pain that I’m tired of.A burning constant pain, pain.I have degenerative disk disease and bulging disks on L4 and L5.I’m 32 and Monday is my birthday. This all stems from a epidural during my second child’s birth performed by a practicing Dr.(about 13 years ago,Nyack Hospital Rockland County N.Y.)One of the biggest law suites I missed out on.(major family problems at the time) I’m on powerful pain medicine but it doesn’t seem to take much of the pain away. And if I miss a dose I get irritable,tired,hot/cold flashes and a freezing nose.
I’ve tried everything. I feel like I’m at my wits end.Like I’m going to *****.People don’t understand emotionally how hard it is to be in pain every minute of everyday.I’ve had electric stimulation, massage therapy, adjustments,ice/heat physical therapy, a machine that was heavy as hell that vibrated and shocked my back all at once.Stretching, exercise.Next Thursday I’m suppose to go for spine decompression.DRX6000? Some new machine that’s suppose to help.
Anyways anyone with any advice whats so ever I would greatly appreciate.Sorry to have broken down yet I can not be alone in this unforgiving situation.Take care to you all.

Chronic/severe pain patients?

What causes your chronic/severe pain, how old are you, how long have you had it, and what have you found that helps your pain the most? Just curious as to what other people are dealing with.

I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, I’m 15, and have had this condition for 2 years, my spinal cord stimulator and my positive attitude are the most helpful for my pain.

What causes neck pain?

I’ve been having chronic pain on the left side of my neck for 2 days. It hurts constantly and its hard to move my neck. The pain seems to be isolated to one particular area. I haven’t had any injuries. My pain started Monday w/ a really bad headache. Then by night my headache eased a little and I started having neck pain.

What kind of pain do you get if you have Endometriosis?

I heard about chronic pelvic pain and severe cramping. But is that it? What are all the pains that come with Endometriosis, and is back pain always associated with this particular disease?
