random pain on the left side of my abdomen and chest?

it started maybe 3 weeks ago. randomly comes and goes but when its here it hurts fairly bad. usually comes during work and lasts til i go to sleep. itll start out on my left side under my last couple ribs and shoot up into the left side of my chest. sometimes ill feel like i have weight put on my chest but i can still breathe just fine. it doesnt hurt to the point where i have tears but does still hurt. any ideas?
im 23 y/o. ive not injuried anything so isnt that. its there constantly but the degree of the pain is whats random. like right now its not bothering me but a few minutes ago my side was in pain

whats your age?
it could be muscle spasm,pain from the heart doesnt last more than 30 minutes.
chest pain has to be taken seriously anyway.

You could have any number of things going on. If the pain radiates it could be a symptom of a heart condition. Maybe cracked ribs. You left out a lot of information. Your age for starters. If its in your abdomin it could be a inflamed appendix. The bottom line is ” Don’t wait. Seek medical help immediately.” It’s always better to be safe than sorry. If its just gas your doctor will tell you so.

hey fella—don’t ***** around with those symptoms—-go see the doc and he will give you a referal to see a cardioligist—who will give you the necessary tests
heart desease has no age preference——good luck.
